Washington Lafayette Lodge No. 176, A.F. & A.M.

The dispensation for this Lodge was granted on July 14, 1947. The charter was granted on February 12, 1948 and the Lodge was constituted on February 23, 1948, with the following officers:

E. L. Maynor               Worshipful Master

W. T. Tyler                  Senior Warden

C. W. Hughes             Junior Warden

On August 9, 1948, Brother C. V. Schooler presented the Lodge with colonial costumes and for the next several years traveled throughout the state performing the degrees in these costumes.
