Frank B. Moncure Lodge No. 279, A.F. & A.M.

                                                               Stafford, Virginia

In the spring of 1974, the Grand Lodge of Virginia was requested to form a new Lodge in Stafford, Virginia.

The first organizational meeting was held at the home of Dennis L. English.  Frank B. Moncure Lodge was issued a dispensation to start a new Lodge.

The first Stated Communication of Frank B. Moncure Lodge was held in Aquia Church Parish House in Stafford, Virginia.

A charter was issued on February 12, 1975, for Frank B. Moncure Lodge No. 279. It was duly constituted, consecrated and dedicated on the April 19, 1975, and the following officers were duly installed.
