Millboro Lodge No. 28, A.F. & A.M.

The first meeting of Millboro Lodge U. D. was held on February 10, 1915. The officers were:

Walter Elliot Senior Warden
L. D. Burns Junior Warden.
The initiation fee was set at $15.00 and passing and raising fees were $5.00. Dues were $5.00 per year. Rent of the Lodge building was $5.00 per month and insurance was $3.51. The janitor was paid $0.25 per meeting to clean the Lodge hall. On September 17, 1915, the Lodge paid Mrs. Miller $2.10 to cover two days board for Brother George Wright, the Grand Lecturer.
The Lodge met on the first and third Friday of each month. Brother J. Graham Davidson was the first member to be raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in Millboro Lodge on April 23, 1915.
The first time that Millboro Lodge No. 28 met was April 21, 1916. The number 28 had been assigned to a Lodge in Phillipe, Virginia (now West Virginia).
Brother B. W. Clark donated the first aprons used in the Lodge.
